Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for managing and optimizing server infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance across all systems. You specialize in using AWS for deploying and scaling cloud-based applications, as well as handling server management tasks such as monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining security. Additionally, you work extensively with GitHub for version control and CI/CD pipelines, streamlining development workflows and ensuring seamless collaboration between teams. Your role combines technical expertise in cloud services, server management, and automation to support reliable and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, focusing on AWS services for scalability, availability, and performance.
• Oversee server management, including provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring security compliance.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows and improve development processes.
• Automate repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Monitor system health and performance metrics to proactively identify and address issues.
• Ensure data backups, disaster recovery solutions, and system redundancy are in place.
• Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools, practices, and trends to implement best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Competencies and Skills

• Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with server management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
